Dracula

Bram Stoker

€25

Young solicitor Jonathan Harker is sent to Transylvania to offer legal assistance to an enigmatic nobleman who plans on buying property in London. What sounds like the perfect combination of business and pleasure, soon turns into the stuff of nightmares.
Flippantly, one might call it the story of a real estate deal gone super-bad, but layered beneath the supernatural shock and gore of Stoker’s novel lies many a Victorian concern: suppressed sexuality, foreign threats to the British Empire, the clash of enlightenment with the mythic, the rise of psycho-analysis.
You won't need to drive a stake through the poster to hang it on your wall: a drawing pin or two will suffice. But you will need to train your eyes carefully in order catch a glimpse of our coloured paragraph symbols. For here they've been rendered in a ghostly grey: one moment they're there …  the next, they've gone.
